Hey, don't forget that critical mass is tonight!

I wont be able to make it, but that is even more of a reason to go! It is really pretty outside, go make fun!

athletes!

Whether it be on the streets or on the rollersECvelo club has consitently proven their strength and agility. And when mother nature drops snow on their heads, ecvelo makes sure that nature is well aware that it does not have the upper hand.

organized

Last night we had a top secret meeting to discuss earth day plans, the banury project, and an assortment of other projects. It was a really good chance to hang out and talk about how much fun this summer is going to be for bikes and how cool it is that there are people in the community working for a more sustainable form of transportation. But more than sustainability, a fun social interactive way of transportation. Anyway my point is that people shouldnt be intimidated to get involved, because seeing shit come to truition after working hard on it feels really good, and even the small things help a lot. And it is fun. I know it is a weird concept, but volunteering to do things can be fun. So to get involved with whatever projects may be coming up make sure you check back here or www.ecbikes.blogspot.com or http://bikethink.blogspot.com/ for updates. Also check out tv 18 for an interview about the banbury bike project coming up. Or if you just want to hang out and ride your bikes come to a thursday night ride, 6:30 at Racys. O yea, on that note just throwing this out there again. The tentative date for EC Bike Film Fest is April11, so April4 is deadline for submissions. I would love to get some more film recomndations.

So now you have your sweet sweet juicy update. The reason I havn't updated recently is just because I've been really busy this month. February seems like a notoriously shitty month for me and I've just been able to get everything semi-organized. Which doesn't mean I am any less of a procrastinator. Ben left for japan last night so im going to start moving out of my house which will take up some more time. I am kind of relived to leave that house, i love it, but considering I have had 5 room mates in less than a year I think I am ready for somewhere a little more stable. it also brings to light how random last year was. 3 of the 5 people who lived with me moved across the country, or to a different one entirely.

But the weather is getting warmer, and february is almost over. I havnt watched the news in weeks so Im not concerned about whatever is suppose to be threatening me now. I am on my feet, bright eyed and bushy tailed. these are god things and after last night I feel like there are more to come. i am rolling with punches

When Thursday Night Bites Back

Stuporbowl XII

Stupor Bowl was really fun. We hit 19 of the 23 check points and didnt pull bullshit like getting on trains. I really dont know what else to say other than it ruled. Some car tried to give us shit and start a fight, red lights were blown, and obeyed, high fives were given, burritos were eaten, beers were drank, shit was broke, Cayla puked, and fun was had. Come with next year, or else.

Try rocking that shit for 3 hours on a bike.
