10 people shwoed up last night for what was by far the coldest TNR of the year so far. Low of -10 god knows what the wind chill was. And we had an awesome time to boot.
Also, I stole this from bike jerks because it is nuts.

Japanish 3
Bikes are important to Japanese society, so is science, so important in fact that they dedicated an entire floor of the Tokyo science museum to them. There was a ton of cool stuff there, here is what it looked like.
Japanish 2
So as far as nice bikes go it really depends where you are if you will see them or not. I feel like there were lots of roadies in most places, and lots of messengers in Tokyo, but in general the cool track and road bikes were usually reserved for cool neighborhoods. I didn't get any pictures, but I think the Japanese have a major hard on for Surly as well, because I saw a lot of them.
